Description
Rosalind Franklin (completed in 2018) was an English chemist and x-ray crystallographer who is best known for her work on the X-ray diffraction images of DNA, particularly Photo 51, which led to the discovery of the DNA double helix. She also led pioneering work at Birkbeck College on the molecular structures of viruses, especially the tobacco mosaic virus (TMV).
NOTE: The watermark in the lower right does not appear in the final print. Aanya is a 12-year-old amateur artist who currently lives in California. Aanya loves school, basketball and the Golden State Warriors, plays the piano and the veena (an Indian stringed instrument), creates DIY projects, and loves to doodle. Aanya’s Art4Earth was born from her desire to protect the planet we call home. All proceeds from this store go towards combating climate change.
